Re: The woman in black
So yea, I just saw this movie with my wife. I have to agree whole-heartedly with Halls. By the 30 minute mark I had pretty much figured out where the plot was going and what seemed like 2 hours the movie seemed to drag along and not getting to the point. As for the ending, the only way I can justify...

Re: Astonished at Xbox Live
Reading this thread I have suddenly realized why I do not play on most pub games, and especially on the consoles. Cheating and spamming is one major annoying issue. Re: My game design discussions
Very impressive what you have so far. For the minigame idea, say the player came up to a tree. The options they would have are leave or get lumber, if get lumber is selected a bejeweled type minigame could launch and for how many matches the player achieved in the minigame would equal the number of ...

Re: HTML5 Canvas as it stands now
Waiting and learning seem to be the only option at this point. I was looking at youtube late last night and noticed that many developers are developing SNES type games with HTML5/Javascript which do look really impressive, but unfortunately no full-on plugin-less 3D. As far as Frogster, I am seeing ...

Re: HTML5 Canvas as it stands now
Javascript with HTML5 will only get better with time and I really believe that we will start seeing more and more browser based games being released and client based games going to browser based. The company Frogster has announced that they are bringing Runes of Magic to the browser. Our stories are...
