Re: eh. Logging out?

I just closed Chrome (including background running extensions) and it didn't log me out.

Re: Submenu Issue

The main problem is that the submenus were being displayed regardless of which menu you are currently looking at. After that, the problem is that they are being displayed inline with their parent (which happen to be on top of other items) instead of off to the side. Without tweaking your CSS too muc...

Re: Cellular Dungeon Generator

Thanks. Oh, one thing I neglected to mention about those demos - the random generation is actually semi-intelligent. When a chunk of terrain is generated, it first looks at all of its neighboring terrain chunks to determine if it needs to have an opening to that chunk or not. If a neighbor is not pr...

Re: Cellular Dungeon Generator

Sim, I did this with just the free version of Unity. Or do you mean you don't have/can't get the Unity web-player to see what it looks like? It's not pretty, just an interconnected version of the javascript bit. Yes, lots more smoothing can be done, and it's certainly very different from Minecraft. ...

Paradox - C#, Open Source

http://paradox3d.net/ I know some of you have already seen this, but thought I'd toss it in here for anyone browsing for an engine. When I last looked at Paradox about a year ago, it was still completely under development. Now, it's still in alpha, but open source and actively being developed on. T...

Re: Cellular Dungeon Generator

Thanks. I didn't follow any specific tutorial. I did follow small tutorials along the way to learn how to do things like alter Terrain at runtime and stitch the pieces together, but the implementation of the construction and destruction of inter-connecting pieces is just me. I started to write it al...

Cellular Dungeon Generator

In another post I was making some preparations to work on a project which I split into separate chunks. I have since dropped Unity (though not the project), though still have this sample of the algorithms I was working with for dynamic dungeons. The art assets are not interesting, but it works more ...

Re: Database Model Help

I realize that I should probably try to help you figure it out rather than just giving you a solution... but I'm not the best at that, so I'll just explain what I would do to the best of my ability. I'd probably do a few things to spread out the information (also called normalization). Like Kyle men...

Re: "Numberless" MMORPG

tl;dr I like the idea and am working on something very similar. Sorry to be responding so late, Jack. I forgot all about this forum until just recently. This idea you speak of is nearly identical to the idea a coworker and myself just started working on two weeks ago. In general, I agree with everyo...
