Re: I got a job!!

Congrats, Jack! Have a good one! :D

*And punt a small fraction of income to the third world...okay, I couldn't help but add a guilt trip! Though it's valid - we can't just help ourselves but then when things go wrong expect others to help us*

Re: Old text based games written in basic - where to find?

You make sense, Jack. But it gets in the way of the nosalgia feels! Feeeeeeels! I was just remembering some of the games - like running a castle siege or growing 'bushels'. Or 'Camel', the game... Remember to sit down with every day for 15 minutes or so, not to program at all - just to game and enjoy it....

Re: Leave of absence

Sometimes it's good to just sit for 10 minutes and whether you make anything or just ponder or just sit for 10 minutes, it means you put aside time to make things. That's the important step.

Good luck with your journeys, Halls!

Re: Bot IPs

You do stupid crap that the Internet at large deems unacceptable (such as bot spamming), you will quickly get your IP on a blacklist and find yourself exiled from the Internet haha! And that makes me wonder who keeps the blacklisters accountable? Lose the small time hoods only to gain a big time ho...
