waterfalls

Post by Dizuki »

does anyone know a good tutorial or anything to help me make a waterfall? I don't really have the money to buy a waterfall prefab. I'm almost done makeing the terrain and i should be done by the end of this weekend but i still need to add textures, trees, and the most important part, the water fall.

Well if i'm going to make a waterfall i think it'd probably be i n blender but if its possible to do it in unity too then either would be fine. Its going to be for a game so it can't be too high-res

UDK and Torque don't have prefabs so it probably is Unity. I may post one as a dev diary later since my project has them.

Well if you find anything let me know. I wont need it for a few more days. I've checked everywhere and the only thing i find is the tornado twins waterfall prefab.

u can find the best waterfall in the bootcamp project.

although tweaking it a bit would be painful, but i think its good enough.
