Wow, I was half-expecting this to be further adventures of the "Radioactive Boy Scout", who continued to experiment with radioactive materials after becoming obsessed with collecting all known minerals (including all quasi-stable radioactive ones, including plutonium) as a hair-brained extension to a boy scout badge task. I think later he became obsessed with actually splitting atoms in a home-made reactor as well. Beyond the fact that most of these types of radioactive materials are threshold restricted in most developed nations, almost every one of these activities is highly illegal, and extremely suspect to national security watch groups. I guess...more power to him? lol
