Honestly, I kind of like how it looks already. It has so much natural shadowing on it that a texture may just take away from its look. Maybe if the texture just gave it a basic mechanical metal look, but besides that, there is so much detail that trying to add more through a texture may hurt it.

As it is, it has a nice Star Wars-y feel.

well i have other bullets in the chamber. so to speak. as soon as i finish those models. i will get back to work on this. but what you can see is just part of the front of it.

Stuff like this kind of makes me wish I had artistic ability and had focused on modeling instead of coding. All I have to show for my effort is a bunch of nerdy words and symbols.
