Favorite game

This doesn't really relate to development or coding at all, hence why its in the off-topic section

Anyways, I'm curious as to what are some of your guy's favorite games and/or genres of games are.

My favorite genres would have to be RPGs and fps's.
I Love the cod series just because you can put days and days into them and not get bored.
Same deal with RPGs. I've put countless hours into Elder scrolls 3:Morrowind and Titan Quest.

Minecraft is also another one of my favorite games, although I dunno what genre that would fall under. Sandbox rpg? Haha.

I also LOVE Arcade games, I'm saving some money to build a MAME cabinet at the moment. I have a design for it and its gonna be awesome. But thats a whole other topic for a different time

So what are some of your favorite games and/or genres of games?

Morrowind hands down, I have played at least over 200 hours total as like 20 different characters. You could honestly give me any character type and I could play it to its full extent.

I've never played the fifa games although I hear they are pretty awesome

And Morrowind is one of the best games i've ever played. The original game and its expansions have a lot of content already, however mods increase that content 10fold. This game has infinite replay value

My favorite genres are RPG, MMO and casual games, mostly. I also really enjoy the Fifa games, although I don't have the most recent one (I am typically fine with an older one until one of the big Premier League gunners changes teams, such as this past season, but still haven't gotten it).

I am not a big fan of FPS games or RTS, although I would prefer RTS over FPS. I guess liking both RPG/MMO games and casual is kind of odd. Just realized how opposite those two genres are on the spectrum lol.

But really, lately I have not been playing many games. It has been months since I sat down and played a game for longer than an hour in one sitting, or played two days in a row. The last game I sat down and played, day-after-day, from start to finish was Mega Man 9 the week it came out on PSN and XBLA. Then probably the next one was Mega Man 10, although I kind of petered out on that one and am still yet to finish it. I have played a few NES and SNES games since then, and played some Mortal Kombat (2011) with the wife last week, but I really have not felt much like playing games recently. I have just felt like making them lol

I'm a fan of space RPGs, Mass Effect 2 is easily the best game I've ever played. I also like realistic military games such as the Arma series.

Sorry to interrupt, but i think you never played on PS3... THAT GAME MAKES ME GO CRAZY, IT'S NOOB AFTER NOOB, CAMPER, NOOBTUBER, FREE-KILLERS ... I have MW2, Black ops and MW3, But seriously.. the Single Player is the thing that makes all the COD's good, the multiplayer is just awful..

PS: Im not trying to offend you or something... just saying my opinion...

My favorite cod game was COD4 which was really balanced, and awesome maps(mostly because of this). I didn't liked mw3 cause of the maps being so little (I didn't played all maps, i just played the game with a friend).

Although I love mega man specially the early X series (x, x2, x3).

Haha sorry but, I exclusively play on the PS3. Its the only system I own cod on. And I love it I dont mind campers, they kill you once, you know where they are. Oh and don't worry, no offense taken i'm not a fanboy or anything I just enjoy the series regardless of some obvious flaws in the multiplayer.

Oh and jack: I've been playing a lot of Megaman on emulators recently
