Hey everyone. I'm Shihonoryu, Leader, programmer, modeler of Inspired Icon Team.
The sentence above is the reason im here. im taking on too much right now on our projects, i have 2 other people on my team. both of which are rather useless. i had a modeler who never put out any work. and 2-3 programmers who never coded a single line. i removed all but one from the team. So now im looking for a modeler specifically. but im willing to take in programmers(Unity)
A little about myself before i get into Inspired Icon:
My Name is Tim Kerschner. I am 17 going on 18 soon, ive been programming since i was 13 years old in many different languages. mostly C++, but ive done PhP, C#, Visual Basic, Python, Javascript, Java. And now i use Unityscript in Unity. Ive had a few projects. which were fun. but as i said, i divvied the project up (You can look at Project maze in the tier 1) into different parts, which only i completed my own. so the game is rather incomplete now, so i hope to change that.
What im looking for to help me with
A modeler: Im not looking for a expert, you can be rather new, as long as your willing to learn, and work on simple assets as you learn.
I will accept programmers. once again, you dont need too be a expert. just willing to learn. All of our games will be Unity(For now). and we will use Dropbox, until i figure out Subversion.
What i will do:
I will be programming mostly, as well as modeling as i need too. Most of the current maps are test maps. until i get better ones, or hire a modeler.
Looking for modeler.

Re: Looking for modeler.
Are you looking for modelers for a particular project, or just to join your team for misc tasks? If is the former, I may be interested.

Hi!
I can do some programming here and there.
I know $ is hard to come by around our age (I am 15); you don't have to pay me anything.
I still need to cook myself up a resume. Here, you can check out some of my projects here: http://www.thegamerboard.com (A complete website I made from scratch; forum system and all)
and here: http://experimental.thegamerboard.com (My games)
I have a blog, but, well, let's just say it doesn't reflect the way I program now very well (and it is very old).
You can contact me on skype: thegipoyennib

Re: Looking for modeler.
Thanks too both of you for replying.
Luke111: Your programming skills seem impressive... i would like to know if that game is from scratch or using a premade engine? if scratch, Kudos too you being better then me! ill contact you soon through PM's or skype.
indiewhite: We are going to be focusing on a single project. hopefully continue on "Project:Maze".
I will contact you both soon.

Hi Shihonoryu!
Thanks for the complement! I did not use a premade engine; I did, however, use a library to handle the DirectX (Used to be OpenGL) crap (initialization/entity managment/etc.)
You can check out the library's command set @ http://www.blitzmax.com/b3ddocs/docs.php and http://www.xors3d.com
I use Xors, but the command set is extremely similar to blitz3d. Most of the stuff you see in-game is done using algorithm's I have developed, or read up on.
Some things I have adapted from other public-domain engines (Perlin Noise Functions, and soon, ambient occlusion). 99% of it I have done from scratch.
The library handles things like collision detection/response and entity rotation/position.
See you on skype!
