At work I need to develop a Ipad app and need a good program to use on PC.
Currently I am using RhoStudio. Motorollas suite that allows you to develop on all platforms. It uses HTML5 and Ruby. Just curious if anyone knows something better. With RhoStudio you can actually push your iOS code to their github repo and they will compile the program for you. I may keep using it but thought I would atleast ask if anyone knew something similar.

I'll have to try this RhoStudio. I was thinking that I'd have to bite the bullet and buy a mac. How is it?
(then again, I might prefer to switch to OSX than Win8 when the day comes, that I need to migrate off of Win7)

Really, I may have to take a look at this Rhostudio thing... I've been looking into iOS development for a while...

well as far as simplicity on publishing it is pretty great. You can literally push your code to their server and once it is up on their repo go to your account and chose the target, click go and bam you got iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows, windows 7 phone versions of your app. You have to build each one of course and do need to have a Iphone developer account for mac.
It is mainly all HTML and ruby and currently I have been using only HTML, CSS, and Javascript for my app and all works. Just a little quirky on some things but I am sure it is because I am new to it.

Actually, I think this might be a good topic for your next Video tutorial...

The biggest fish in the "iOS on Windows" ocean right now is (and has been for a while) Marmalade. Some of the biggest apps and games on mobile devices, such as Cut the Rope, were made exclusively in Marmalade (which also explains CtR being on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 from day 1). It has long been a C/C++ centric ecosystem, but now also supports HTML5.
The biggest downside is that it is fairly expensive compared to some of the other offerings (although not all, as a couple are $500+).
