wait till you get it then you will see. It has a full windows style GUI. There is a ton you can do with it. Best way to learn is to start using it though.

I have it now, but i need to wait for my sister to gtfo of the living room for the HDMI tv :)

i already put the Raspbian in the SD Card, its ready for deployment, and i've seen a tutorial in my language that goes through the boot and some options, because raspbian boots on shell by default and i need to change something to put it with a GUI.

After 2 hours i start getting how linux works..

If i want to install something i type in terminal "sudo apt-get install <package>"

I'm having a problem, since i want this for movies im looking for a movie player, that plays mp4, avi etc. I googled and people say to use omxplayer that comes in raspbian already, i tried but it doesn't have sound and besides it goes full screen and i cant shut it down until the movie ends.. Also when it goes full screen the screen stays black with that effect that a window is used to "clean" the screen to its initial state.
Any help?

I found it very hard to learn linux from scratch.. there's only half knowledge guides..

Linux is just a huge topic. No one can really make a 100% Linux tutorial, just like no one could do the same for Windows or OSX.

As far as the video player, I am sorry I really don't know what to do about that. The video player that comes pre-installed with Ubuntu is excellent. How about trying to get VLC? It comes on Linux.
