PNP Game

Post by hallsofvallhalla »

Couple friends and I are starting to game again. Pen and Paper Role Play. We use to have so much fun and just ran out of time but it is good to get the creative juices flowing. We will be doing so with Roll20 and/or skype. The one thing we wanted to do was using the d20 system create our own universe. I believe we are going with a Armageddon/Apoc game. I bought the domain armageddonearth.com and at the same time will be teaching one of them javascript and php while building generators and ways for creators to add new things to the game. It will be a ever growing game that we will release to the public. Just thought I would post here in case anyone might be interested in playing or helping out.

I never PnP roleplayed online. I always thought it would kind of lose something if not done in person. Is it still as fun?

Well, I think the software itself was made by a professional development team. I believe they make their money on their "marketplace" where people can sell map packs and other assets for people's gaming. But for individual users, it only takes a bit more planning than a regular pen'n'paper RPG, which is to say that one person (the DM) can set up an adventure in just a few hours planning.

Their option to use a 3D simulation of dice seems a good idea!
