Hey guys, I'm working on a new project. It's called
Combat Calamity, and it's based on the classic 'Rogue' game of the 1980s or perhaps Nethack if you know it. The goal is to make a modern touch including couch and controller support and everything, but still retaining the old hardcore gameplay. Also to stop misleading people as the genre "rogue-like" gets used way more often that it should be, as those games that do not have turn based, grid based dungeon crawling game should be called a rogue-lite instead
I'm really focusing towards controller support and all that awesome thing, since the old games are just.. well... ascii art/text based game playable with only kb and mouse..
It will have a modern touch of RPG-like system, skill trees, stats, inventory, etc.
