My fiancee broke hers the other day, and it cost about $80 to get another one.

Yeah, those things are expensiveeeee.I thought I lost the pen to my Bamboo at one point, but I ended up finding it lodged behind my desk 3 days later. No idea how it got there, either. :-\

i bought mine dirt cheap but it didn't come with a pen. havent bought one yet

What makes those freaking pens so expensive?! I looked inside her broken pen (which is an Intuoso 2, or something like that), and there was nothing electronic inside it as far as I could see.

I have no idea why they're so expensive. It really doesn't seem like theres a whole lot to them, especially to make them worth $80. Who knows.

Some of the newer pens we saw actually got for $150+ for replacements

Luckily, her tablet is a bit older.

All of the Intuos pens i've seen are around $60-$80

The pens are so expensive because you can't use the tablet without one
If you could use any other device to draw on the tablet, then pens would only be $10

haha that's exactly it. I have a bamboo fun. The pen is only $30 but that is still waaaay to expensive.
