It is 'Oh' not Ow...

Ow sounds like 'Ouch' without the 'ch'
Try punching yourself, the sound you make after that, will be how 'Ow' sounds xD

Ummm..he wasn't flaming. Most foreign speakers who are wanting to make an English-language version of their website are happy to be corrected.

Maybe that was a little uncalled for, and, for a non-native speaker, could come off as being frustrated. It is true in any language that you have to watch humor or sarcasm when speaking to non-native speakers. Oftentimes their first assumption is that you are making fun of them or getting frustrated with them, which is usually not the case.
