Damn must have that damn sulfurous scent then too! I hate it when that happens; spill my chicken flavouring while making my legendary 2minute noodles, then its so tempting to just lick it right off the table! XD
Don't know if you guys are too big on 2 minute noodles, but if you ask me, they are Awesome!

I went on a ramen binge a few years ago where I ate almost nothing but ramen for about 3 months. It was not for a lack of money; I honestly have no idea why I did it. I have never been able to eat them since.

As a side note, I love Japanese food, but I ordered "real" ramen at a restaurant a few months back and it was awful! The soup stock was very watery and light tasting, it was filled with wilted cabbage and there was a boiled egg turning all oozy in the liquid. On the plus side, the fish sausage on top was good!

eeewww the watery wilted cabbage sounds gross.

I lived off ramen noodles in College. You have to becareful though, you can get food poisoning from certain brands very easily.

Lol, 'real'. they soft boiled the egg?

I think it was hard-boiled, which is actually worse. If it was soft-boiled, the egg would probably mix into the soup and cook in the heat, giving it kind of an egg drop soup feel. Instead, it was just a hard-boiled egg flaking off in the soup making it cloudy with yolk substance. It made me sad.
