Not really, with a fair amount of hacking I can separate the login database from the rest of it. Single-logins are the bees knees though man.

but my main problem is not wanting to add the wiki in with the forums. It causes slow down and possibility of corruption or issues. If you feel like it will be fine though I can redo it all and place it in the main db

It will be fine as long as the wiki doesn't directly update anything dealing with the forums. Mediawiki's own tables can be corruption prone if handled incorrectly. But it would JUST be the media wiki tables that are corrupt. You should also be making a DB backup once a week for fast growing forums.

When you place it in the main db just make sure it has its own prefix to differentiate everything. And I can walk you through the single login stuff later on today. And we can work together on stripping out all of the useless garbage and getting one look across the forums. Locking down the wiki to a user-editable namespace and a staff only namespace and what not.

sounds good, i will just change the config file to point to the new db then export the current db, edit the dump to add the prefix, then import it in the forum db

ok i just redid the whole wiki thing, we didnt have anything on it anyways yet, but its ready to go and the db is now the same as the forums.

i would like to build a projects section in the wiki. Where members can show off their projects and use it for development. It will be the next big task.

Thanks to Noc's point in the right direction we now have wiki accounts. I have created a new wiki group that will be able to edit the wiki pages.

I would like to get started on the wiki. We need to get the logo up and start building pages. I think Noc is going to spearhead this but I am not sure. I would like to have some people helping him who can write articles, reviews, ect... If you are interested in becoming a Indie-Dev writer let me know and I will get you set up. I have a vision for this site but time has been keeping me from it. I am trying to free up some time to get a lot of this done. I would love to have some people reviewing game, engines, ect. After we start getting enough reviews up on the site and start getting plenty of hits we will start getting early release on games from the companies for review.

Also would like to work on adding news and other things.
