Not a problem, thought I would find out, though im not ready to implement that yet, but just curious. I figured out how to do the movement using the keyboard arrow keys, but when I go to start making the game, i figured using the mouse to point, click and move would be a little easier.

I found this in a quick Google search. I'd try it out but I uninstalled Flash already.

what about...just another question, now that I figured out how to embed flash using html/php. Using Halls tutorials, I created the login page, but instead of going to the next set, it goes to an embeded flash file. When you first register just the same using Halls tutorials, then login, how can I use flash to set ones "race?" Then the next time they login, they bypass that whole screen entirely, and return to their previous position?

ah, now your talking about using MySQL, PHP, HTML, and Flash all together, you should probably get some experience using Flash separately first, maybe spend a few days looking through tuts for Flash and learning how the language works, that way you will have an understanding of what way you should make it work. Im just guessing that its possible to do that btw, I havent tried mixing flash with some external scripts yet so I dont know what is possible with it.

Is there a way when importing into flash, to make the background transparent? I have it as a .png file. I imported a ship to use as a sprite, and can't figure out how to get rid of the background, leaving just the ship.

when its on the stage or when you are editing it on the stage, right click on it and there should be break apart, or something like that, then it turns into the same as the fill on a box or circle, then you can cut around the bit you want and press F8 to convert to symbol while its selected. Probably an easier way but thats the way I usually do it.
