The savevid.com link does not work for me (unknown provider error), at least for the earlier videos (the ones on vimeo). The sound does not seem to work on the youtube ones either. I did read youtube were doing something about sound distortions on their site to stop people downloading music videos. Maybe this is what they meant?

If it is OK with hallsofvahalla could somebody/anybody post the videos to place where they can be downloaded to the hard-drive? I am sooooo keen to start learning php/mysql and hallsofvahalla's videos are the perfect way for me to learn. My bandwidth restrictions are tight and are getting tighter on 1st August.

What I really like about these videos is when an error happens and HoValhalla corrects it live on the video. Making mistakes is the best way to learn anything.

ok I PROMISE!!! tonight I will get the videos uploaded for downloading and get some new videos out. As long as I can recover this dang hard drive. I have been so friggn busy as of late but I am taking time out to get some more video done.

Ohh, the Vimeo ones cannot be downloaded through savevid.com, because they can be freely downloaded from the service itself. Go to the page on Vimeo with the video. Make sure you are registered for a free account. Go to the bottom right of the page, and you will see a link to download the video. It is one of the few video hosting sites that allows you to freely download their videos.

But, as Halls said, he will be getting the files up for download soon. I just figured I would clear this up anyway, though.

I agree...flashgot is what I use as well!

Could it possible to go into how i would make different skills from different locations as i was hoping to have a game that you can fight if you want to but not if you do not want to.
so other skills like making the armours or mining for armour and weapons metals things along them lines if i can find how to do 1 i am sure the conversion to another skill would come along with it.
aslo as i say how would i go along the lines of adding other locations .
