well...you can download everything and have it ready, installed and good to go. This way you can pay attention to the videos 100%, pick apart what Halls is showing you and then if you want, retype the files yourself.

You aren't in the wrong for doing it by yourself but I found it easier this way. I watched all 13 videos at the time, downloaded the files and installed them. That is my "tutorial" project. After that I went back through the videos with better knowledge of how things worked and built them from scratch, referencing the source if needed. I did a third time following the videos and making things custom to my liking as I went though it.

and if ill want to change the game, like a space game si fi.

or if i want diffrent types of dmg like poisn or cold.

shold i presnt this to halls so he can help me add new stuf?

but thats not all in an mmorpg im sure others already used those ideas...if it will all work out ,im sure it will halls seems profasional, then i gess we will have to find that Unique thin that will make people wanna play it...

but a lot of people are playing over used ideas games so thats no prob...

i am not writing your game ideas, you have to do that. i am merely giving you the tools and knowledge to make it yourself.

Hmm when I try to create the table creatures I do as you do in the video but when i click save it says ( #1103 - Incorrect table name 'creatures ') this has got me stumped how can the name be incorrect when i have to decide the name ??

and you are only putting in creatures?

Yea i followed your video exactly i type into the box 'create new table for tutorial' creatures then put the number of fields as '5' and entered the infomation into the fields as shown in the video click save and that error message pops up. I played around a bit and can create it if i call it crea, doesn't make any sense really

Sounds like you already have a creatures table and it won't let you make a second one.

Hopefully i've added to screenshots below I don't think i have done 2 tables
