Killing a creature... [help]

Currently when I kill a creature, it gets deleted from the table.
I'd like to save the creatures base stats before a fight, and repopulate the table with this data when the fight is over...
Any ideas? I can't seem to figure it out for the life of me.

Please post your code so we may help you out.
post the combat code where you kill the monster. you are probably using a DELETE sql query.
If you are following the videos I believe either halls or some one has posted a fix for this. look into the discussion of video 14 i believe.

As is usually suggested, if you are a new PHP coder, you should just watch the videos (without following along) up to at least video 14 before writing any code. You will get a good feel for how it works, and be less prone to make mistakes. You will also know that certain things get fixed later down the line in the videos that may seem annoying or distressing while you are still watching the earlier videos.
