Cave Story (Doukutsu) - Freeware Game

This is probably the best freeware game I have ever played.
It is a 2D action/adventure/shooter much like games like Mega Man and Metroid (The NES Metroid).
I strongly urge you all to play it...you can download it here: http://www.miraigamer.net/cavestory/downloads_1.php
You will have to download the game "Cave Story (Japanese)" and the English translation patch. The patch should have "Readme" instructions on how to set it up.
I would be very interested in learning to make a game like this one. Enjoy
