It's been a while since I've posted any models..*sigh*, been so busy yet I have nothing to show.

Anyway, heres an architecture piece I'm working on for class. Should be finished up tomorrow for the most part.

EDIT: Forgot to include some technical stuff..

I'm using 11 maps for the various parts, ranging from 256x256 to 2048x2048. The majority of the texture maps have a diffuse + a normal map to make details pop. The main building body still needs a normal map, so it looks awfully flat right now. It's sitting at roughly 1,700 polys at the moment. Gonna be adding in some props in front of the house to help fill the scene a bit.

Looks awesome! My only beef would be the roof.

This looks great! The sidewalk looks slightly repetitive, but if it was in a game with ground texture/grass/etc. around it, it probably wouldn't be that noticeable. Great job!

Thanks guys =]

LKH - Yeah, I don't like the roof either. I think I'm gonna redo it with a thatched roof, and possible throw in some planes with alpha maps over the edge so it looks like some pieces of the straw are poking off the edge.

OldRod - I still have a few props I'm gonna be adding to the outside, that will be covering a lot of the walk-way. You won't be able to notice the repetitiveness then, unless you realllllly focus to try and find the matching pieces. =]

looks nice.

like lkh the roof is a major flaw.

it seems to lack depth, and looks more like an image skewed to fit.

i think the walls could do with abit more depth aswell.

other than that. thumbs up :)
