To cut a long and not necessary story short. With summer starting and once again a time for much of the indie and hobbyist community to have more time to work on projects heavily, i would like to find members in the community who are not currently working on a project or are willing to discuss game development on a whole along side whatever they are currently working on.

Personally i have always had my best inspiration when i talk to other developers about games and if we can get some large chats going about simply game design, development, and such, magic can happen. With this being the main purpose to this supposed chat, I believe i would not be the only one to benefit from some true discussion.

Would anyone else be interested in such a discussion? If an idea or ideas are met with interested a team could be made. If not, then everyone can continue to chat whenever.

always interested in some good game development discussion, what do you have in mind. I am interested in the broad spectrum not just MMO development. Seems like every forums I am a part wanna talk about MMO discussion. What about Single Player RPG'S, RTS's, FPS's!!

I'm in Australia- its winter.

But I'm always happy for discussion.

I can discuss development along side projects.

Ideally this is nothing serious. Just the sharing of contact information and some nice msn chats. Everyone has a different schedule but just having the ability to contact each other i think would be a great help for everyone.

Forums are great, but i always have my best plans and ideas when i talk with someone in real time.

This is exactly why im making this a bit more formal then just a mass msn group without any previous thought.

And for game type. I'm up for any. Although i feel the announcement of HE indie would be a topic that can go on for a while.
