Free CDA to MP3 converter

I just aquired a cheap MP3 player and I wonder what free converters from the CDA format (I think) to MP3 you'd recommend? A small program is a plus - I don't really need a bunch of options

I don't know of anything particularly, but I would suggest to stick to something like Source Forge. There are literally thousands of x-to-MP3 converters out there, and tons of them are crawling with trojans, adware and other malware. At least if you go open source it would drastically lessen the chance of having something bad in it.

Thanks, Jack! I was worried about that and didn't just want to pot luck try a program. I'll have a look at source forge.
