Does anyone know any good free project management tools that work like Scrum?

I generally use a word document which works fine when I'm the only one working on a project but I need something that can split up work between a few team members. Place ideas and a time line.

I have Overlord that I would be willing to let anyone use. It is already installed. I of course cant give you a copy but can let you use mine on my server.

Yeah box.net has some interesting features too. I have a dropbox I use but box.net allows you to add job notes to certain files, so if you are the project manager you can assign jobs to different users. It does a lot of neat stuff. I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for though.

Anywho, IPB3 (forum software) has a nice take on PMs which can be really useful..

It's not really what I'm looking for. What I'm looking for is a free Scrum

I wasn't advertising, just stating some tools that help me with my projects. And the better "file hosts" come packed with extra features that allow for decent project management. Also, to some degree, wouldn't online project management have to be a file host?

I don't think you'll get that much functionality in a free product. You should try using some combination of free services offered by companies like 37signals - http://37signals.com/

Scroll to the bottom for their free products. Services like dropbox and box.net as mentioned above are actually good for version control, and it's easy to extend their features by getting creative. For instance, when I was developing a flash game, I would upload a text file with art listings for my artist, she would upload them to her folder, and I would update the text file with either new requests, or changes that needed to be made. Same for my sound guy, I would list sound effects that I needed, he would create them, and so on and so forth. You just have to be creative with how you use these tools, it might not feel all professional, but it gets the job done.

I think stuff like that should be free. Unless your going to offer hosting for them, then charge to use the servers, but otherwise be free. I myself am looking to dropbox. I couldn't find the free products at the bottom.
