Nice, clean layout so far - there's alot to be said for minimalism. What graphics you have are reminicent of kingdom of lothing, so that should plug in with alot of gamers. Of course that's as far as your project goes right now, but keep plugging away at it!

Good luck!

Thanks, Graphics wise It's hard for me to actually draw something that is going to look good so I just went with stickmen. I am going to try to aim my game for being more traditional fantasy than K.O.L though but still im excited to work on it.

Alright so I'm kind of in a predicament here and I would like to have your opinion. So right now it looks like I can't really make my game with a database because of the hosting site, but I could make the game a choose your own adventure kind of a deal. If you would like this game to be a database game than vote for that and if you would like to have it be a choose your own adventure game.

You are saying a database game cannot be done due to your web host, but then an option is to make a database game? I assume that option means to buy a webhosting package that includes database access?
I think you could make a game that uses a database, though, even with 00webhost (if I remember that was the host that shut you off). Several other people on here have done it with no problem as long as the game population stayed low. The trick is to put up a dummy page first so you can slip past the initial human check of your site. After that, it seems that a human being will not check your site again, and you will only draw attention to your site if you start eating up resources.
Of course you could just bypass all of this hassle by paying $3 or $4 a month for a hosting plan, if you can swing it. It really eliminates a lot of stress in a web dev's life

I actually was not the person that posted that but yes I meant switching to a different hosting service.

Ohhhh, thats right lol!

Two posters talking about roughly the same thing in the same day haha.
So why won't you be able to use a database with your current host?

I can not find out how to connect to my database on that host anywhere checked all over, anyway I just registered with 00webhost so It does not really matter anymore.

Odd that they didn't make the info clear. 00webhost is good about giving you the info on how to connect.
