It's been a good while but I just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone!

I've been on a long hiatus from developing. To make a long story short - I was just pushing myself too much and I became overwhelmed. But now I'm wanting to get back in the groove, specifically to work in Unity, but possibly even another PBBG attempt, or some flash, or just whatever you guys are doing nowadays.

Anyway, it's good to be back, and I look forward to talkin' to everyone again! Glad to see the place is still very active

Good timing, just when I decided to join the fun here again as well. We should make a motivation board, and link up a penalty system for every time we don't meet a deadline.. where it takes like a dollar or two off you're bank account, that would motivate me because I know I'd easily hit 1000 dollars in a few days.

What I'm up to is looking for either some weed or a way out of Manhattan before Irene hits here, does anyone know any places for cheap car hire for a 19 year old where I'm allowed to go into another state? Sorry or the randomness of my post.

Glad to have you back! Typically when people disappear on forums, they are gone for good, so very glad to have so many skilled members of the community coming back!

And @Chris: If you have a handful of cash for a bus ticket, you could try to go "couch-surfing" for somewhere to go, or something to do out of state on the cheap. However, I think Irene is going to be fairly weakened by the time it gets up to Manhattan, although I am going on info from a few days ago.

Long Island has been told to evacuate and a lot of people are evacuating south Manhattan because it's sure to flood. There's a full moon Saturday night as well as far as I know so the water levels will rise because of that. I hope you're right though, I managed to book into a Hotel further up north on slightly higher ground out of the danger zones and it's only a two story building so hopefully the windows won't be getting smashed in so easily.

I dunno much about Manhattan so I'm not sure of any place to get weed haha.
