Energy Crystals have a history spanning from the early 2050s. Until that time primitive fossil fuels where used as power sources but these where proven to damage the earth, In 2053 a young professor named Mary Alder invented something that would change the face of human history. She used high powered electro thermal imaging to search deep into the ground and whatever she found could be excavated with nothing but a drill and a crane this process would become know as exo-mining and left no damage to the area that was mined, she was awarded the Nobel Prize and praised by Greenpeace. In September 2054 while exo-mining in Greenland Professor Alder discovered a river 4 miles below the earth's surface, the temperature at that level would render flowing water impossible, and so the two year excavation began, in December 2055 the underground river was finally unearthed, upon closer inspection it was discovered that the liquid in the river was not in fact water but was liquidised crystal, whenever someone tried to take some of the liquid out of the river it turned instantly into a spherical crystal. For a while these crystals where used in jewelry and had purely ornamental value but a freak discovery found that the small crystals people had in rings and used as paper weights where generating a low level of radiation, tests had shown that this radiation could not only be harnessed to use as a clean and safe power source but also that it never ran out, the crystals themselves seemed to have some type of everlasting power. Further studies allowed Manufactured Crystals to be made, although these were clean and safe they lacked the longevity of the natural crystals. Two Years after this discovery and people where using crystal in everything that required power to run, from cars to planes and even wristwatches where powered by Manufactured Crystals, the natural crystals where only used to power space crafts. The mystery behind energy crystals is still unknown to this day but some speculate that they have lay dormant in the earth since its creation.

The Infected Story: PART 1 -

The infected are unlucky survivors of the Magellion Crash. These once, normal humans, most of these infected where crygenically frozen future citizens of the New Earth. However something went wrong....

Upon the crash of Magellion, the 'awake' survivors paid no attention to the lower chambers of the crygenic pod wharehouses as they where too busy salvaging the wreck and awakening the citizens in the upper pod wharehouses. The 'infected' also known as the 'forgotten ones' where only discovered around 10 years after the crash when salvage teams finally gained access to the lower levels of the ship.

When the first sqaud was sent in to investigate the level of the ship, they never returned. The entrance was sealed and remained heavily guarded untill a group of highly specialised special forces officers where sent from Oasis. When the team entered they discovered the poeple in the pods where no longer frozen. They where all awake, dead, or worse infected...

After long battle through hordes of these fast moving, bloodthirsty infected, the team reached the computer backup drive of the lower levels. Once retrieved they immediatly took it to the surface for analysis. The computer recordings reported that in the first few weeks of the crash, the pods lost power and slowly began to melt apart.

The still 'dorment' citizens within lay bare in the pods for a while untill the report of a pre-mature 'de-freeze' gas emission in the pods, executed at the main control panel on the surface to re-awake the citizens. This 'de-freeze' gas is a highly specialised toxic gas that is used to almost instantly melt the crystalline freezing ice encasing the humans. However there was an absence of this crystalline ice so the gas was directly exposed to the bare humans. This short exposure to the gas was reported to genetically mutate the citizens inside the pods.

This was the birth of the infected.
The computer record shows the first of the pods where forced open from within about one week after the toxic contamination. After about a month 90% of the pods where open...


The Infected Story: PART 2-

After confirmation of the events, scientists ordered a live specimen to be captured, and the military general of Magellion ordered the entrenced to be sealed to all citizens. When a live specimen was finally captured scientists did many tests and produced these results:

Test Results A301 - Specimen 'Infected' Human:

- The specimen is a Male approximately the age of 25.
- The specimen has a severe case of the infection.
- Specimen shows to have increased muscular strength.
- Specimen also appears to have decreased brain activity.
- The specimen is covered in a peculiar blistering ulcers.


Based on the results done by the scientists, they concluded that the infected where highly contagious with the disease they called 'Zombifixia', named after the 'zombie' like brain activity. They found that the infected had two basic instincts, to feed on anything living, and to ignore each other as potential food sources. They found that the ulcers the infected are covered with increase in size, and if the infected does not feed enough, the flesh begins to rot in that area.

The infected disease was found to be transmissible only via direct contact with either blood or saliva. People infected by the disease usually take around 3 to 4 days before completely loosing all human instincts, if not being completely devoured before that time...

Still working on Alien names

2065 - Earth's population reaches over 10 billion, causing massive resource shortages worldwide. The world leaders met to decide what could be done to end this problem. With much debate they decided to put away their differences and build a ship for other world exploration and colonization.

2075 - Magellion, the first and largest colony ship is completed, able to hold 40,000 people.

2076 - With the first successful creation of a "Hyper Drive" the ships can now travel millions of miles in less than a week.

2080 - Three more colony ships are now complete, and with the world on the brink of extreme over population, the world's leaders begin preparing the ships for launch.

2081 - All together over 100,000 people board the 4 ships and launch into the unknown.

2087 - All contact is lost with earth aboard the 4 colony ships. A unanimous vote is made to proceed for the search for a habitable planet.

2089 - First contact with another life form is made in a voice message, "Gitnuck! Roshamuck!" All attempts to decipher the message fail.

2091 - Three years past the "point of no return" the ships begin to run out of food.

2092 - A earth like planet is discovered, science pods are sent out to investigate the surface. Two weeks later 10 unknown spacecraft attack the Four colony ships. The colony ships have no choice but to crash land into the planet and hope for survival.

(AC01)2093 - The surviving colonist begin adapting to the new planet, building houses outside of the ship. The soil grows earth seeds very well and food becomes bountiful.

(AC02)2094 - The colonist fail in all attempts to communicate with the humanoid aliens they have named Volcars, the aliens are weary of the humans.

(AC03)2095 - The hottest summer the colonist have experienced, the heat brings a new alien up to the surface, Firegens, a meat eating, heat based alien that feeds on everything. The Volcars make first real contact with the Humans and ask for an alliance against the Firegens. The first war of the new planet begins, it is know as the War of AC03 (Year 3 after crash). The humans and Volcars successfully hold the Firegens back till the end of summer where they go back into the earth and wait for the next hot season.

(AC04)2096 - The humans have made many successful encounters with the different alien species of the new planet. Many trade routes are established between the various human and alien cities.

(AC10)2102 - The human cities have grown and flourished. The new planet is rich in resources and factories have sprung up all over the outskirts of the major cities.

(AC20)2112 - Colonist have their first friendly encounters with intellegent lifeforms. A race of aliens named ___#1_____. The aliens come to the humans for help. The colonist learn that the ___#2_____ were the aliens that shot the colonists ships down. A extremely powerful alien race that control 90% of the universe. The colonist agree to help the ____#1____ fight the ____#2____ in exchange for technology.

(AC26)2118 - With the help of the ___#1____, the colonist put their first ship into outer space.

(AC45)2137 - The colonists have developed small space stations, or outpost. Developed large trade routes with several planets and other alien planets. All efforts to find and send a message to earth fail.

(AC65)2157 - 3 human colonist ships are found drifting in space. All the humans are still alive. They bring terrible news to the colonists. In 2112 earth was destroyed by the ____#2____ and the 3 colonist ships were the only ones to escape.

(AC66)2158 - With a large fleet of ships and masses of outposts and planets, several races including the colonist wage war on the ___#2_____.

(AC100)2192 - One hundred years after the crash the war is still raging.
