I love this game!  It's great!  The story draws you along without feeling like you are grinding as you level, and space combat is really well done.
The only downside, between this and Skyrim, my development time has gone completely out the window.

				I'm finding the game overall a welcome change from WoW. All quests being voice acted so far has actually engaged me in the story. For instance in wow. I always accepted the quest then ran to where it told me to go. No immersion at all.
I hate the space combat....no skill involved since it's a horribly done rail shooter...Hell Star Fox was actually difficult. Hopefully they allow free roaming space just like Galaxies had and I'll be happy.
I too am suffering from development distraction. Hopefully I'll be able to take a break from the game for a bit to pursue my projects lol

				Was thinking about playing this, but one person on another forum stated it was a little like GW in that a lot was instanced and more like a single player game rather than being an open world MMO is this true?

				I think an honest subscription system would be that you pay a sub, but after you've paid it X number of times you don't pay anymore (the company takes the money and banks it, garnering interest which, along with expansions (hell, expansions always happen) pays for the costs (server costs not being as much as people think)).

				I don't have much against subscription systems. They are, however, heading the way of the dinosaur. The last writing on the wall was even WoW introducing a limited F2P system. But I still do like them. You are going to have to pay money for pretty much any real MMO. Try playing a game like Runes of Magic without paying anything. You will be so under-powered, high-end players will avoid you like the plague (just not having a mount alone will try the patience of other players partying with you). In fact, many F2P game companies pride themselves in getting much more than $15 a month from many players. 
I am not sure yet what Guild War 2's angle is going to be yet. The first GW series of games had more in common with Diablo 2 than an MMORPG, but the sequel claims it will be more of an open, shared-world MMORPG. I am not sure how they are going to pull that off without subscriptions unless they basically make it a packaged F2P game with an item shop and optional features to purchase.

				Another interesting model to keep an eye on will be the Diablo3 one. where blizz will be taking a cut of everything sold by the players for real cash?

I think it is a good system provided they don't eliminate or limit player's ability to trade items for in-game gold or rare items (which I don't think they plan to). Diablo 2 had a vast real-money economy outside of Blizzard, but, as usual with third-party item sales, it was filled with scammers and item dupers that stole player's money and got their accounts banned. At least if there is an official channel it will keep players safer. I don't mind official real-money trade in games like Diablo, where it is basically impossible to get an entire set of armor where each piece has less than a 0.0001% chance of dropping and nothing in the game is valuable enough to trade for it (a serious problem in Diablo 2, where everyone's pockets were full of gold and it had little value).
