I have an Asus laptop with 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M Graphics card, and I've never had a problem running anything, so I think that would be fine

um that could do anything.....
$1500 is a HUGE budget for a PC, I paid $300 for mine and it can basically do anything.
Just DO NOT BUY a HP. Worst PC's known to man.

If you can learn to build one (its not hard) you can save a lot of money. I built my brother a PC with 16 gigs of ram, gig video, 1.5tb hdd, new mobo, new everything (other than keyboard/monitor/mouse) for about $800-900
Otherwise yes, thatll develop

ive got 3 gigs ram with 1gb video card and I can do 3dsmax /photoshop /unity at once no problem

There really are no requirements to "develop", except a modern OS to run modern programming tools and enough specs to run whatever game you make (which most likely not be on the level of current-gen commercial games due to the man-years put into those games, so even that would likely be pretty low). I guess if you are wanting to go Unity, there may be a bit of requirements with that just so you can quickly move around your level, but even for Unity that rig is way overkill. Unless you plan on playing a lot of games on it, you are over-spending by about $750.

1500 is overkill, really. Like people above mentioned before, just get a regular "cheap" PC and you`ll manage just fine running Unity projects. If you plan on doing UDK or heavy polygon Maya/3Dmax stuff, you might run into memory problems with low-end computers, so a safe bet would be mid-range computers with a little ( or twice ) the average memory size. 600/700 dollars + 60 for the extra memory.

Too much power...
Building your own may seem complex, but it isn't very hard at all!

More than enough. I use a €600 laptop.

I already have a "cheap" computer, 2 or 3 gigs of ram, and i run into problems with the simpliest of things in unity.
For instance, my game, with cubes as placeholder models, and 3 untextured cabins, and only like...1000 lines of code total? is already starting to lag.
Im looking for something really good, i dont have to build(you wont convince me out of this, id rather pay extra) and i can play most games on high/ultra settings. im looking for 10+ gigs of ram, a pretty good graphics card and CPU. i wanna keep this thing for a long time.
And if you guys are saying its way too much money for that rig, then direct me to other complete computers that are cheaper, because that one, is better then my friends "high end" computers, and for about 500$ less.
