Been involved in games a long time.
Board games early.
Became a DM (dungeon master) back in 1977.
Yep, the body is officially getting older. For some reason the me inside haven't quite grown up :)
Started writing video games in early 80s (Amiga and PC)
Wrote my first browser game in perl -- back before ebay, paypal and Amazon even existed.
Part of the Goddgames development team now.

A little while ago started developing with the Impactjs engine. Very happy with it.
Read some of halls posts about working with the node.js and socket.io stuff. Really liked the tone and content of the videos.
So I stumbled upon indie-resource and found a what looks to be a good community of indie developers.
I happen to believe that indie game development is an important cultural heritage.

Hope to learn what I can, and help in any way that I'm able.

77' Awesome!

I started in 87'! I think, somewhere around there. Been playing for 20+ years now. Kinda a part of me.

Glad to have you!

You know I wanted to do some Pen and Paper RPG tutorials at one point. Just kinda quick walk through for people who never played and don't have anyone around them to teach them. :)

My style of play changed dramatically about ten years ago when I turned my DM skills toward home schooling.

Would teach chemistry, physics, math, and other skills using rpg mode. They kids would do anything to get through a locked door or kill the mutant troll -- even learn physics. :)

I gave them the power to modify any one variable of a physics equation of their choice. This would make monsters suddenly sink, float, etc. Was a real kick for them and I totally enjoyed it myself.

Wow, that is a good idea, haha! I wish I could take a physics class like that lol...
