What's the deal with the outbox? I sent someone a private message and it's not showing up in the sent messages, it's showing up in the outbox. Will the person receieve it automatically or do I have to somehow "push" messages from the outbox... or... help me lol... unless it will fix itself.

I think he is talking about our actual forum.
I believe it should show up in the Sent box if it was sent. I don't have any messages in my Outbox, so I don't know: what options do you have when you open and look at the message? Do you have a "Send" button? If not, then it likely is just telling you it was sent.

Does it not go to sent once it's been read?

Really couldn't tell you lol. I am definitely no expert on phpBB.
@Joncom: Glad you got it worked out!

When you send it it goes to outbox until the other person has read it. That tells you when it has been read.
