Which project..

For so long I have been debating which project I should go with. I've always wanted a nice big world. I am looking to make it multiplayer too..
The big question for me is which of my two games do I want to actually keep producing.
1.
Ever since Resident Evil Outbreak came out I wanted to be able to play a huge zombie game, but all of the zombie games since then that have been released still havent met my ideas.
A basic idea of the game:
A big map that I can continue to add to, the original idea is going to be loosely based off of my home town, then spread from there. Buildings won't and can't be exact but will certainly be as close as I can get them to be (mainly my immediate area where I know what all the houses look like). I have very obtainable milestones that will keep the project in perspective. This is an art heavy choice, which I am fine with, but I am not going for photo realistic. I'd like a rather big invention system that I can keep adding to. It's going to be a realistic feel to it despite the non-perfect graphics. I dont want zombies to be the main focus in this, and don't want it to be seen as 'yet another zombie game'.
or
2.
A samurai/fantasy based multiplayer game. I've always liked this choice but I feel like something in constantly bringing me back to the first choice. Basically a fantasy MMO like a lot of others unfortunately, just with way less magic and more of an actual historic feel to it, but with a strech of some magic lol. I also have milestones set in place for this one.
What do you guys think? Do you like one of the ideas better than another? Do you think I should go with my gut finally and actually start with my zombie mmo survival..?
