I am not sitting on a ton of computing power, but it does what I need it to do.
Laptop
CPU: Intel Core i5 ...something else. Can't remember the numbers.
RAM: 4gb
HDD: 500gb
Screen: 17.1" (yes, a big laptop)
GPU: basic Intel on-board
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate/ Ubuntu 11
Desktop
CPU: Some kind of Intel dual-core 3.0
GPU: 9800 GT (I don't really play games on my PC, but the ones I do play it is quite enough to handle it)
RAM: 4gb
HDD: 500gb
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Screen: 23"
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Tablet
CPU: Tegra 2 dual-core
RAM: 1gb
HDD: 16gb w/ 32gb microSD
Screen: 10.1"
OS: Android 4.06
I don't know enough about my Windows Phone 7 Samsung Focus to really list its stats. Also not listing my wife's stuff, who has an equal laptop, a much more powerful desktop, same phone and a iPod Touch 4.

Remember swapping the disks, or the 10 disk install?

What was crazy was after CD-ROM drives came out, but before they were really widespread, software developers went ahead and started assuming everyone had one because they did. One of the last floppy disk programs I ever installed was some random Microsoft program, and it was on 54 floppy disks

It took me all afternoon to install, and since I had to constantly swap disks out, I couldn't even go do anything else

My first computer was an Atari 400 with 16K RAM and a cassette drive. Want to load that awesome 8K game? 20 minutes later... "Tape could not be read"
Had to save up to "upgrade" to the 64K ram/floppy drive Atari 800!!

When Windows 95 came out it was on 20 floppy disks. I had to install it on 5 machines at work and due to hardware driver problems, etc. had to reinstall it numerous times. I could almost swap those disks in my sleep by the time I was done.
