Hi all,

I found this forum by a YouTube video tutorial and it seems there is a lot I can learn from here. I had that idea of making my own RPG for more than 10 years but I never really thought seriously about it until a few days ago when I realized that with my current level of web design knowledge (PHP/MySQL/HTML/CSS), I could at least create a very basic one and continue building upon it.

I started planning a text-based browser MMORPG, with very little graphics and this will be my long term project. I am now designing the database and doing a lot of research for that because I want to do things right as much as possible from the beginning. I will browse the forums and consume whatever information I can find related to my project and surely I will have questions for you.

Thank you all! I liked the forum a lot, it is full of ideas and helpful discussions. The more I read, the more I realize how complicated it will be to create a good text-based browser MMORPG myself but I have no hurry and I am willing to learn.
