'Adopting' games for comment giving

I was just looking at a comment by Torax,
I hope you guys can check out my new game some time, it sucks coding without having someone to talk to or give ideas/suggestions. I'll try to post some screenshots soon under a different topic.
This really seems a common feeling amongst coders?

I'm just idling throughts around of a sort of patronage system where we kind of adopt for a while a handful of games, leaving a comment each week in their thread (or for those games that can, actually leaving comments in the game itself, in special areas that show off new stuff) for X number of weeks. Which games are temporarily adopted could be in ones signature. Perhaps 'my adopted games for october' sort of.

When you're coding you don't always have some brand new shiney thing to try and get comments on. The idea of temporary adoption is that even if a game is 'forever', that makes it rather excuslive. And someone could re-adopt it latter anyway.

I'm just chewing over the idea. I mean, we all seem to be somewhat on the same wavelength anyway, so it could be mutually beneficial.

I like the idea :) People could basically put their game up for adoption when they are ready for it.

I love the idea and would wholly support it. I actually was thinking of a developer of the week section where a developer spends the week talking about code, posting code, ect.. and people comment. I would basically give him/her a folder in a "Coder of the Week" section and they could start topics on whatever they want, they control the conversation and people can comment.

Just an idea but I like the whole, giving people a change to show off some stuff and talk about what they want.
