How to get a Publisher Attention? [DISCUSSION]

Hello community!
I released my first official 3D Game, Road to Darkness, and already got some pretty good feedback. Now i wouldn't do this for now.. but sometime in the future i would like to begin making money with it, not selling of course, but getting ads on my website, and maybe get some money from a publisher to support the future development.
Does anyone know how to get a publisher attention to OUR indie games?
And does anyone know multiple ways of earning money with our games. (Apart from selling)

I would probably start with Facebook. Creating a page for it and invite your friends to get them to start talking about it, and pass it around that way.
Remember, they post on it, their friends will see it and may check it out, and like the page. So on and so fourth. A slow process but a good way to start. Place a paypal donation button on it as well! This would be my first suggestion!

Only one problem with facebook, either i manage it and i spend a lot of time with it.. (time that i dont own), or i hire a facebook manager (money i dont own).
The paypal button will be a to-do, but with world crisis is hard to get donations without any "gift".
Also, what should be the "stage" of my game to go present it on kickstarter?

With KickStarter, since you already have it at stage to play, you could do it now if you wanted. You could basically start one at any point. However, I would suggest with anyone using KickStarter to at least have something to show your actually working on it. Even 1 to 2 levels would suffice.
I will be putting my project on KickStarter as soon as I get the first couple of levels complete.
Facebook on the other hand, doesn't have to be full time. Post only when YOU feel necessary to do so. Say you do a major update to the game, post after the update. New content added, post after update, etc.

Well my problem at kickstarter is that what if the people who support don't like the result? :C I dont like to see people sad because of me, specially when money is on the table..

Your going to always have that with game making, movie making, anything, anywhere. Either be a hit or a miss, but you will have the experience and know more what to do the next time!

No, there is nothing they can do. That is an understood risk of backing something at Kickstarter. Heck, there is even risk the project won't come to completion, however I must admit I don't know what happens in that case.

Even if my project didnt got too famous i would never drop it until it was done from the main idea.
I would use the kickstarter and donations money just for the games, like models.

If you're really showing your first couple of levels and the rest of your game is somewhat consistant with those levels, then they will like the whole game. DO NOT WORRY!
