Hello guys, i heard this today on a tech news website from my country, saying that Microsoft will shutdown WLM aka MSN.
I remember when i had like 100 friends on Msn before facebook.. now i have 5
If you guys don't know this yet heres the english translation of the news:
http://translate.google.pt/translate?sl ... 2F&act=url
They say they will focus on Skype only as their IM service.
If you guys want to add me it's vpegas1234 on Skype.. as it seems msn will be offline but i think there are no ETA for that so i will continue using mine

I use MSN consistantly, this sucks at least on my end. I do use MSN and Skype for video calls...oh well, crap happens I guess!

I think there's no big deal because there will be Skype as always, and skype is cool too

As an xbox live ambassador - We use the WLM to connect with other users on the site using silverlight and this could be a problem if they are getting rid of this ..

I don't know how official it is.. But this site is pretty good in the news and rarely or never make mistakes at least i never saw one.
As microsoft bought skype.. the service will now (the 6.0 version of skype) use WLM accounts to login in there. But since i have a skype one i don't need that..
It will be cool to only use one IM for a change.
Hey Chromeozone how did u became a xbox ambassador, and what do u do as it?

Basically there is two ways.
One, You apply for it and this takes around 2-3 years to actually get accepted.
Or,
You get chosen, Like I was and basically you just help out where you can and show the Admin team you are capable of doing the job.
We basically are customer support, but dont get paid - We take phone calls (WLM) and people ask us for support and we give it
