Anyone played Roblox? http://www.roblox.com/

My daughter loves to build on Minecraft but that is about all she can do is build buildings and dog so i was thinking of something more like Roblox where she can build things then I can script them to do stuff and slowly teach her.

Is that how it works? Is it worth fooling with? Advice?

I played it forever, and my brother plays it now. It's like Minecraft, but gives you the ability to code and such. It is almost like making your own 3d game.

I go on ROBLOX sometimes, but the community there is loaded with perverts, online-daters, scammers, hackers, exploiters, and it's just a bad influence on anybody. If you really wanna work on things with your daughter, get something called CraftStudio.
I'm 14, and I was introduced to ROCRAP in 2008 by my twin brother, regret getting sucked into it. Blockland is the better alternative.

You are very limited to making things on ROBLOX too, and the lag isn't bearable.

Something though to take from this would be to allow players to script the AI for your games. That is something I plan on doing (but of course, must have a game on the live first). Not only allow player to submit created content, but also to allow for programming. Since most likely the AI would be of a scripted language, the chances of "bad" code getting through should be minimal (with a good review).
For example, while the default AI of a game may have: Simple Attack, Hunt, Sentry, Wait, etc... Players could expand on it or have new commands. And their bonus would be of some form of rewards (ie: in-game weapon)

Used to play it.
Admins are morons (I got banned for posting an off site link... but the post was made BEFORE the rule. It seems stupid how people how break rules all the time are just fine and others get banned for the most stupid reasons).
Community is terrible, you would find more intelligence in a dead rat.
Pretty much turned to P2P.

Wurm is an MMORPG. CraftStudio has good reviews as far as I know. Just look it up on YouTube.

Wurm is really an MMORPG that is pay-to-play.
A game I HIGHLY recommend is Blockland. You basically build your own things with lego bricks, you can add or make add-ons for your server or game too. You can upload 3D meshes you've made on Blender or other 3D modeling programs to Blockland, you can add your own music you want to your game or server, sound effects, etc. it's very customizable and not limited at all. I'm assuming your daughter is young, BL is for her. Great community on Blockland, it's entertaining, and you pay 19$ for it once and you then have it forever. I bought it in 2011 and I don't regret it, best money spent on a video game. I wish I bought it earlier though.
