Hi fellow Devs. :)

This summer i am going on a one week trip to New York with my dear Sister, really excited. It's a really pricey travel from Denmark, so i want it to be just right, hopefully you guys can give me some tips, about where to stay. :)
The plan is to stay on a hotel in Manhatten, we have been looking on these two hotels, mainly the one close to wall street (cheaper).

http://www.franklinhotel.com/

But looking at the map, the wallstreet hotel, seem to bit away? Where as the franklin hotel is closer to the center. Would you recommend us to spend the extra bucks on the Franklin hotel? Or is it easy get around etc?

Also, other tips is more than welcome :D.

The subways make it really easy to get around the city. You can probably make up any distance you are further out quite fast. I went back in the late 90's and it was awesome :)

No matter how big of a city you have been to (except probably Tokyo or Shanghai), the buildings in Manhattan just look unreal from the street (pictures don't do it justice). It looks like movie special effects lol.
