Interesting post about netflix data mining...and buddhism

Thought that title might catch your eye - then again, that sort of eye catching, when a corporation sets about doing so scientifically to millions of consumers, is the real trick.
Anyway, it's an interesting look at netflix, then it moves on to comparing how the heads of netflix, as they try and produce entertainment that essentially makes our brains fat, are kind of like a new generation of human (who sees themselves superior, of course, over the old)
