Anyone know what engine I would use to create a game like this? Or how I would go about it?

Thx

The only engine I know of that would get you closer to that style of game would be Isogenic Engine. There may be some Flash ones as well, but I can't suggest committing to Flash at this point. Even Adobe is poised to bail on Flash.

Yeah, I've looked at it and have it on my computer, but having a hell of a time figuring things out. I don't see many tutorials online about it either. Not the way that I want to create my game.

It is a professional MMORPG engine for making commercial-quality games, so for those types of engines you have to give it a solid 6 months to learn it. But I can guarantee no one can spend that 6 months building up something like IsoE from scratch. It is light on tutorials, but the creator is extremely dedicated to answering questions personally, and I believe their community has been seeded with a few good subject matter experts who can help now as well.

It is definitely the engine I would suggest to make a game like Castlot. It is an extremely complex game to develop, like most of the major massively-multiplayer strategy browser games.

My problem is I don't even know where to start with it. I can load all the examples and everything, but that's about as far as I've gotten. I've tried to put images in there to load instead of the initial fairy's, but I can't get anything to work. Frustrating!
