Grace Hopper Google Doodle today!

I didn't think I would see this! Check out this story on the Doodle if you aren't familiar with her. She is considered one of the most important people in all of programming history, but sadly she isn't a household name. Maybe this will go a ways to fix that
EDIT: Actually, the article really focuses on her creation of COBOL, but I suppose to keep it from getting too technical, glosses over perhaps the most important part of her legacy: she was the first known person to have the idea of creating a compiler, which allowed for the creation of high-level languages! Someone down the line likely would have had the same idea, but we may have been 5, 10, or maybe even 15 years behind where we are today if she had not had the idea in the 50's.
EDIT2: Oh, and she also coined the phrase "debugging" after a real moth got into the wiring of a computer she was working on.
