5 year bash

We are 20 days from our 5 year anniversary! Anyone got any ideas for a celebration?

Wow, I can't believe it has been so long! Of course, I showed up a couple of months after the doors opened, but still. I will be thinking of something!

A mega contest would be nice... something cool like a week jam or something xD
I'm reading a book about ImpactJS and I plan on having at least the demo game ready by the end right?
5 years ... amazing And we're big in Romania so.. that's a good bonus.

I don't think this idea is big enough for a 5 year anniversary, but I was thinking about kind of an interesting idea for a small contest we could maybe do sometime. The thing is, it is a game design contest, not a programming contest. The idea would be that entries would design a single-player RPG with nothing but a standard deck of playing cards and one 6-sided die. The point would be that when you take all technology out of the equation, and give the designer only the most basic of equipment to work with, it distills it down to nothing but the design and how you could make it fun, and would also make it easy to compare one design to another. The goal would be that all entries hopefully learn something about that elusive thing we love calling "fun factor".

I like the idea of a week long challenge and I also like the idea of a game design only but I also like the idea of it being a challenge much like the Weekend Warrior stuff we use to do. Where we would just update our progress on whatever we were doing. All good ideas.
