Today is the 5th anniversary of indie-resource site and forums.

Wanted to thank everyone who has made it so great! If you were to tell me 5 years ago that this community is as awesome as it is I would have said "no way". The beginning of IR was like a Spanish Soap Opera. excitement, scandal, and drama around every corner. Enough drama and scandal to nearly close the site but we pulled through. Now we are one of the premier forums on the web for web game development. We may not have 10,000 active members but we do get millions of views. Lost of people in the shadows just looking for answers and best practices.

Each one of you have made this happen and thank you for that!

I look forward to 5 more years and to see each of you there...

We are still big in Romania and now growing in Turkey! We are ranked 61,147 in Turkey!

Woo! We're soon to violate some ant-trust laws in Romania!

I forgot to mention the true celebration is on the this Saturday. Cake, gifts, and surprises!

We are all a big family!! And that's what make us great in Romania and Turkey! We may be small in number, but we are big in everything else!!

Congrats Halls on the wonderful site. I have definitely seen its up and downs since I been a part of IR. 3 months from now will be my 5 year here. Hats off to you Halls for creating such a wonderful site and to everyone here in helping create a wonderful atmosphere and making this one AWESOME FAMILY to be a part of. Happy birthday IR!!!!
