MacBook Air

I'm working on one at work while we wait for my iMac to come in, and this thing is ridiculous. The hardware is just crazy. i7, 8GB DDR3, weighs about 1.5 lbs and is about half an inch thick at it's thickest spot. Also holds a good charge, wouldn't say it's great but it is good. I don't like the iOS as much as Windows or Linux, but i'm learning to deal with it, and if it was personal i would just have a tri-boot system going on. Anybody else have experience with the MacBook air?

I had the same laptop. Got rid of it for a Dell Ultrabook. This things smokes the Mac. I7, 16 gig ram, 320 gig solid state, weighs 1 pound less than the mac.

Don't get me wrong the mac was nice. Was fast but god the OS is horrible, the keyboard is %^%^%$%^ stupid, and windows DOES NOT run better on it.

Oh my god i hate the keyboard. The biggest thing on the Mac I miss from windows i right clicking (I understand Ctrl+Click but wtf) and page up/page down. I want an Ultrabook when I go to college ;)

Halls which dell ultrabook did you get? I currently have a samsung ultrabook but it has a horrible heating up problem, my battery already got spoilt because of the laptop heating up regularly.

this one with some extra accessories

http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-13-9333/pd ... ps-13-9333

It only gets hot when I am running like 2 instances of VS2013, SQL Manager, a few chrome browsers, and running some huge queries. Even then it does not get that hot. If you still got warranty I would definitely get it checked out.
