Wow...wait, what?! Seriously? (major .NET news)

OK, I am not sure if this is true or not because I can't find anything on MSDN to confirm it, but check check this out. There is some expected stuff, such as the further open-sourcing of .NET, but then it is mixed with bombshells such as real .NET versions on Linux and OSX?! Really?
Has anyone heard anything about this? I still have a hard time believing it. Here is another site that seems to be at the center of what is going on, but I didn't see any mentions about native, true .NET CLRs for Linux and OSX. That would be a real game-changer, since cross-platform support is really seen as one of the last things that Java really holds over .NET.
