Okay.

First off let me say that "i'm back". Alot of personal stuff, mixed with a recently intense school year has kept me from being as active as i like from my favorite e-hangouts

Now for the purpose of this thread.

While i have been away from the discussion, i have in no way been away from the idea and design creation. I'm contemplating the idea of a "cute, demented, mischievous, dark, but funny" toon based mmo.Now while i am playing around with genre ideas. Im just curious about what you all think of such a game as well as how you would play off the subject. Just keep in mind that i may just use some of your ideas, but i am more in need of this thread to show me some ideas, art, inspiration, to get my own unique set of features and theme going.

I love that Idea, who doesn't want to stare in the face of a cannibalistic toon man. Keep us updated!

okay, so now that i know people would be willing to play this.

What would you expect in such a game? How would you want to play it? Is cliche a good thing is such a genre?

Cliche can be a good thing. It is cliche for a reason, right?

I say have the twisted looking houses that are not in proportion (big top, skinny bottom) but instead of a friendly red roof make it more dark colors throughout the game. I say it should always be night too.

I would have to agree with LKH. Love the idea of a non-proportioned buildings, always being dark outside.

Oh, in some places the moon light should be shining, and in other places, its so much of a dark, cloudy overcast. I love this idea...can get my brain running...hehe
