Re: Gonna be some changes
@Pax Thanks for letting halls/the rest of us know. As I said, I never used it, so I couldn't say if it was good or not. Glad you replied because if it's as bad as you say it is, I do NOT want halls to use it. Sorry for wasting you time, O Great Halls of Valhalla  P.S: I'm not mocking you, I'm j...

Re: I'm a lurker no more =D
Heh thanks for replying everybody. The game I'm looking to make is probably a 2D rpg loosely based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. It's basically about clans of cats (yes, cats) who live in the wild, hunt prey, train apprentices, etc. It's a pretty good series, and many people make their own ...

Re: My latest experience with Eclipse and Genesi2d
If you were looking for something like this, what about that Mirage fork that was posted on MMORPGMaker (or was it here?) a while back? I can't remember the name of it, but it had a much better featureset than Eclipse or Mirage. I think the engine you want is XtremeWorlds: http://www.mmorpgmaker.org

Re: VRML
I have an old internet book that talks about VRML, but I think it's been replaced something called X3D. You might have better luck looking for X3D resources

What about BoonEx dolphin: http://www.boonex.com/dolphin/
I downloaded it once, but never got around to trying it. It's more for small social networking sites, but it claims to be able to also make "niche communities" which is what I assume indie resource is

I'm a lurker no more =D
Hi all! I lurked around these forums for awhile now, so I decided to finally sign up. I like this place a lot, because the people are friendly, there's no flaming or harassing, and everyone helps each other. Plus, the owner of the site and forum (that's you halls xD) posts very frequently too, so we...
