Zeowan High Priestess

Post by D3luxe »

This is a project I've wanted to do for a while, because of a model sheet I found online. I just think she looks really cool, and I'm hoping I can do her justice.

Plus, we have to model a character out for my class, so I figured it was a perfect opportunity to try it out.

Here is the model sheet:

Heres the progress after an hour..keep in mind this is the first character I've ever done, let alone completely by myself. If you remember I did a little bit of a tutorial for a mad scientist, but didnt have enough time to finish it (only had about 3/4 the face done).

I'm happy with how its coming out so far..we'll see if I can keep going with it, lol. The top shawl part is just what I threw in real quick before the hour mark, so I still have a lot more to do with that.

So, my "priestess" turned into a "priest", lol.

As I mentioned, this is my first character. I'm still really rough around the edges for modelling characters, but I'm happy with how he came out. The reason I say he is because I couldn't get the face to look very feminine, so it looks like a guy..

Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I may go back and do some more tweaking if I have time, but I still have a bit to do for my final for class (which he is a part of)

That looks great man! Incase you do want to try for a feminine version, you can try things like big eyes, less strong features, fine, arched eyebrows, full lips, high cheek bones, and overall smoother features. Try for smaller shoulders (less broad) as well, and not to be like this, but dramatized breasts will help do the trick.

To be honest, it is very difficult to try and create a gender without hair, so i think you did a great job with this.
